Hi, My name is Laura, I am a yellow scalely breasted Lorikeet, my long time owner passed away and I found my way to Broken Wing Aviaries, My owners Rose Ann & Arty tell me my call is ear peircing, many humans simply see my beauty and don't concider that I am loud and sometimes have a fierce attitude, and being a nectur bird, I am messy.
There are many Parrots at the Gabriel Foundation that are Loud, and yes on some days we can be with a attitude, we have bad days toooo.

Hi, My name Is Hahns, I am a Hahns Macaw, I was kept in an entry way on the floor, my closet friend was a dog, we shared this small entry way and wasn't fed much, both of us knew what starving and thirst meant,
Then oneday a man with a badge appeared and then my New owner Arty arrived, my dog friend was taken away and Arty brought me home with him and I am now a resident of Broken Wing Aviaries.
I can use cuss words very well and I enjoy lunging at anyone that nears my cage, But Arty and I are working on issues and I am making much needed changes.

When I brought Hahns home he was so filthy, I had a very hard time figuring out just what species he was, after a nice long bath, a very beautiful Hahns Macaw emerged, the water that ran off him was pure MUD, his cage imediately went into the trash, this little bird was severly abuse, There are more little ones just like Hahns at The Gabriel Foundation Sanctuary, they need your help, Please reach out and do what you can.
