The monsters have discovered the echo of talking inside the stainless steel bowl. Mr Buddy does it at night while John is cleaning play stands. He imitates the sound of a message being left on the machine upstairs. Its far enough away that you can hear the beeps and someone talking but you cant make the conversation, just mumbling. He always follows with a big laugh at himself. Now Occy is doing it with his Elmo voice echoing in the bowl "Hello? Hello? MOM? MOM? AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA GET DOWN! GET DOWN! Afa birrrrd? Alec? DAAAAD? AAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!"

Does anyone else have fids that do this?

Unfortunately my suns don't talk they just scream in the dish. I think the novelty has worn off since they don't seem to do it anymore. Echo works better if you empty the dish first....

What a hoot!!!! I bought this stainless bowl toy for Ruby that is on her cage and she stick her head in it and goes "whoooo hoooo" Silly birds!

LOL! Mine do this as well...Echo talks in her bowl, carrying on whole conversations with herself. Harley has her head in the bowl and makes "awwwwww" or "ooooooo" sounds. It is hysterical!
