But.. I have a BG that I adopted, she had 5 homes by the time she was 3. She has never stopped plucking, and 2 1/2 years later, she has 'grown' her plucking to my great dismay - with all spectrum lighting, love and attention, good food, etc. Just yesterday, I saw blood on her inner wing.. she was trying to pull a blood feather from her thigh, and it bled all over her wing. So sometimes these birds get psychotic and it is really difficult to treat. |
