Default Sally Blanchard

Does anyone know her personally? Has anyone heard her speak? I love her books. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Sally has been to our home afew times, we have attended several of her seminars.
She is by all means a very kind person, her love for birds shines.
Sally introduced the wife and I to Tammy Jenkins, we all were trying to get Joey's issue controled without surgery.
Joey was a (RUNT) she had many other (anatomy-genetic) issues, she just wasn't a strong little bird.
Sally helped us a great deal, her in-sight was treasured.
Sally Blanchurd is a very remarkable human.

Havent met her personally but she is spot on about birds in her books... if you havent gotten ahold of her Caique Booklet you must. Its hilarious, and dead on about caique personality. I would recommend it to anyone who owns, or is looking to add a caique to their household.

I met her and she was rude to a few of the people there.(Sally Blanchard)

Maybe she has to be paid to me halfway nice to you.

I read her books and im not impressed she spouts the same information that everyone already knows and has heard from the so called experts for years.

Birds in a lab act differently than birds in a home setting or the wild and i have a big problem with anyone that would pretend they knew behavior and raised a plucked bird.

If she is so good then why is her grey in such bad feather?

I wouldnt judge on plucking myself... too many factors go into plucking to fall into 'its the owners fault' category.

I met Liz Wilson a couple months back. If you didnt like her style she would have certainly come off as rude and brash. Upfront and honest is what she is- and very nice and caring women too. Its all about perception, really.
