Default Rope for toys?

Got all my toy making stuff out and realized I'm nearly out of Paulie Rope. I had some rope leftover from attaching the poop tray to Ollie's hoopball, and I'm wondering if it's safe to use for toys? It's from Home Depot, and as far as I know it's just regular cotton rope. Any ideas? Can't find it on their online page.

Camille, my first thought is; No. I can't remember for sure, but I seem to recall reading that if the rope is shiny it has been waxed with something. I'll have to do some research to be sure though.

I use the same stuff. I sure hope its safe but the knots are easy to untie. So they take the toys apart easy. I order true paulie rope from Birdsnest Specialty bird toy parts toys and it knots much better. Look on the left side of the home page at New Items. They have a bulk supply of it now, plus some other new cute thingies I will be getting myself! They have other rope too, cotton rope thats good stuff!

Ooooo! And they have pink! I've never seen pink paulie rope before! Guess I should place an order...I think I'll just bite the bullet this time and order the big spool. Usually I buy like $10 worth at a time. Don't know why...I'll be making toys for the next 50+ years...

They do have a lot of cute parts!

They have good stuff. Even the Paulie Sampler is good. I bought 2 sizes of cotton rope and it holds good. A suggestion, the nutz & bolts is well worth it. All the fids love to make the nut go up and down the threads before they chew it to pieces. Its on page 7 of Plastic bulk on ther ight side of the home page. Same items list page 2 has jumbo beads. Well worth it! I get all my stuff here!

Okay, I'm unable to shop at Birdsnest! I add something to my order, then when I click to add the second thing, it deletes the first so I'm back to just one thing in my cart. Is this just me? Leigh, can you see if you can get 3-4 things added to your cart? Maybe it's a cookie thing...
