The Pueblo Flock are settling into their new home and most are adapting far better than we could have hoped. They have been receiving daily showers and most of the stench that had followed them here is gone. Most are ravenous for the fresh fruit and vegetables, sprouting mix and mash that is their new diet. Many are interacting with staff in the way we would expect from a healthy bird. Overall, we could not be more pleased with their progress thus far.

Medical exams on all 42 birds are scheduled for the week of February 15th. We hope to gain valuable information from these that will allow us to tailor care to each bird's individual needs.

I'm so glad they are starting to flourish with all the love and good care they are getting. I hope all medical tests go well for them.
