#1 | | | Photos of Bowie Someone, somewhere, recently asked to see pix of Bowie, so I took these photos. These pix were taken last night, indoors, and this morning in the front yard. I hope you like them.
Here's Bowie, practicing cracking unshelled almonds:
And here he is with Rowan. They took one look at each other and fell in love:
Here he is, showing off his Big Eagle Wings :-):
On a bird bath/feeder, in the warm autumn sunlight:
And here he is on a post that's part of the crow/squirrel feeder:
And, last but not least, getting in some cuddling time with Z: |

hehe, earlier, i looked up at ivy and from the angle i was at, she looked just like the picture of mikey you have in your sig. | I was sorely tempted to name him "Phoenix" because of those fiery colors. So many birds seem to share that name, though....
And 'Nobes didn't have a thing to say about it, poor guy. Rowan took one look at Bowie, let out a big sigh (seriously!), flew to his cage and claimed him for her own. It took Bowie a few days, but he finally returned the affection, and now they're as inseparable as a set of twins.
I think Kenobi is fine with the arrangement. Quite frankly, he doesn't seem to like the other birds, much, and he's very attached to me. He's survived Rowan's rejection pretty well :-). |
