Default The Perch Store has 30% off toys this weekend

I know they all got ton of toys for Christmas but with so many that "destroy" them and the fact that I try to rotate once a month I couldn't resist.

I don't have the time to sit and make any. We're still doing so much to the house, between that and work I'm beat when I get home. For now it's easier for me to buy.

Not all of my guys destroy their toys the way several of the macaws do. I always make sure I have extra toys on hand, you never know when a new birdie will be showing up :-)

Well I just spent a pretty penny in there. Thanks Jeanne!

Do you know anything about these "Ortho" playstands? I need something new and I think I like this: OrthoBird Medium Parrot Tree / Play Stand

I have Java trees but I really need something different. My Amazon has become velcro and he's driving me crazy. He sticks to me like glue! So I'm thinking a new playstand. I'm also leaning towards this one as it looks easy to clean. The trees can be a horror show!

If you know anything about these playstands or any other kind, please let me know!

Thanks so much!

i have lots of free time. aren't you becoming a full-time bird mommie very soon?

ivy hasn't been in her cage much lately, so she hasn't been buzzsawing almost anything except her foot toys lol. i wish the perch carried some other brands, i am not big on featherland's designs. one toy i really want from the perch though is this one:

S.S. Rainbow Blocks Mega 30" Refillable Toy with one Refill Kit

it seems like a good deal and you could really refill it with whatever you want. i might have to get it for her the next time the 30% sale rolls around, they seem to do it at least once a month.

my friend has one of those for her B&G. he doesn't seem to into it. though, i don't think plastic playstands seem all that fun for birds. mine LOVE ripping into bark so i just do natural wood playstands.

Thanks Emily. I wasn't too sure about those stands, but I'm also not crazy about getting another tree. I'm looking for new ideas.

I should probably post this in Amazons but I need help! Seriously, my boy has been driving me crazy all week and I don't know what to do anymore. Velcro is his new name.

we have one that came with Lulu when he came to live with us. The birds all chew on it and have destroyed many branches & bowls.

I personally like the hanging ones as well as the boing perches & atoms.

The company paid me out on my package and hired me back as an consultant (getting paid by the hour and I neg a good rate) until the end of February 2008. One of the other departments asked me I could stay on until the end of 2008 working on some migration issues. I have a chance to double what my salary was in 2007 if I stay on.

Looks like it'll be another year before I'm a full time birdie mom. I am however making sure I leave work by 5pm the latest (home by 6).

Jeanne, I love the hanging ones too, but I think they might be a little too big for my amazon. I think so anyway. I love the one all the way to the right there. Actually the one in the back is nice too!
