I was a bit bad mommy today. I had taken him out shopping with me. When I returned home I sent him to the aviary as usual but got talking with my mom. About 15 minutes later I remember my birdie, he was still waiting on top of the aviary for me to come open his door. I have never left him so long before unattended outside. It is good that his training is now such that he does not go off on his own missions, it was not my intention to test his patience.

Boy that was lucky
- I guess having the Aviary as home + all the other birds - why go anywhere? Life is pretty perfect for Peanut. Heck, I'd like it!

It would be a very sad day if he took off. Keep up the training.

Sweet Peanut! He is a good bird!

I am never certain who is training who, I often think I am in charge and then I find out not. Peanut is bold and scared of nothing but he also seems to have ADD. He is also very lazy at flying so mostly too much trouble to fly places, he gets up to close at hand mischief.

I did that one time too. Left Boca on his outdoor swing and forgot him for a good 10 min.
