Poor Occy Ekkie, looks neglected. It must be from molt season or well I hope so anyway. He feathers are dull and he fell and bruised the big orange peach scooper of his. It actually has a little bruise on it. Anyone else with a greenie looking terrible this time of year? I bathe him, give him fresh veggies and fruit. What else can I do???

Well, I don't have a greenie, but I do have a Grey-ie who looks terrible right now! It's his first molt and he's a MESS!

Plus he's cranky one day, cuddly the next. Like he has PMS. I never know if he's going to go after me! He got me gooooood over the weekend on the face (first bite in almost a year!)

Thats a great description," looks like he got into a fight"! Thats it exactly! I guess its just the season. He's not moody though which is a blessing.

Papi's not looking so hot these days either. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but every day when I get home, I examine every feather i CAN FIND TO MAKE SURE HE'S not plucking. Tis the season. Hes got a lot of pins comin in on his neck right now, I feel for the guy. sorry about the caps lock

Thats the funny thing, Occy has no pins that I can feel. Then again, he's not one to be massaged like the rest of them so I cant get under his feathers for a good feel. He looked like this last year though when I first took him in.
