Default Observing a poop

Ok, this is weird. Mr Buddy was over my head perched on a hoop. I was gonna walk under him until I noticed he was tilting to poop. So I looked up to wait. This is the weird part. As he was pushing, his entire "PART" came out! Visualize the thread "Eve and his parts". Is "It" supposed to come out for males when they poop? Now Im trying to watch all of them from under neath to see if something is wrong with Mr Buddy. Anyone ever observe this before?

I have never stood under Kasper to see. I don't think that "it" should be popping out when pooping.....but, then again....I have no idea.

He's been a little hormonal with me so maybe thats whats going on but I dont know. I doubt many people are under a bird when it poops. He just happened to be at an angle where i saw it. He wont poop in his cage so Im concerned that his habitual holding is causing a problem. I dont want to run to a vet for this just to find its normal but never observed. Theres no blood, and its not runny. It a textbook poop. He's eating and drinking fine.

I have no idea if this is possible, but could it be a prolapsed cloaca? I've heard of that happening to some birds but I have no experience nor much knowledge on the topic - and I have no idea if a prolapsed cloaca would "go back in" after they are finished pooping.

Thats interesting. It went right back in but the area was pumping after he went, like open, close. This is the last thing I need to worry about right now.

Might be something to research more - but like I said, I may have no idea what I'm talking about so don't freak out just yet
