I was sure Sophie was done molting. Positive even. (insert annoying buzzer sound here) Wrong answer. Yesterday morning there were a few large feathers o the cage bottom. By mid afternoon quite a few back and belly feathers.
Then a slew of head feathers. lol So, of course, I give her a good long shower. Which covers the bottom of the tub with head and neck feathers!! She was so so happy for this bath too. I could see it. sheesh.
Then there is Cricket and Benji with their almost monthly mini molts. For about five months. Feathers for two or three days then noting for a month. Ten feathers for two or three days......

Enjoy the feathers, they all have different styles. Sometimes in molting season it can look like there was a pillow fight here.

I'm there for ya Jim. I know just what your talking about! Blondie and Dagwood have been molting {seems like forever now} and then the two little ones now and again, YIKES!!! My poor vacuume is about to go on strike!!!LOL! And don't get me started on the pellet catapolt, sheessssssssssshhhhhhhh!!!!!
