I do also, s/he got the name Nemo from someone one here in an earlier post.

I want to weigh Nemo again but I am fairly certain that s/he is being better taken care of than another single chick that belongs to 2 parents is. The reason I have not removed the other chick yet is that being single it is going to be a problem providing the socialization and bird teaching skills required. The other baby is a Honey sibling so soon old enough to let Honey and Tessie/Zac help with raising.

Hi there - thanks for posting an update about Nemo. Too bad about the head plucking - looks like Beast is a bit neurotic about his baby.

It is strange that Beast has turned into this super Dad, when together they weren't the best parents - maybe miss matched [like some humans]. They may have bonded but shouldn't have been together due to personality issues.

PS - I mentioned 'Nemo' first - however I'm sure it was on everyone's mind.

Thanks I knew it was someone on here that gave the name.

Maybe they were mismatched but you would never have guessed as they were the most loving demonstrative of the lot just with poor parenting skills. Mom and Pop have the best skills but don't show much of the normal pair loving things, they look like squabling siblings most of the time stealing prize food items instead of lovingly sharing.
