Gracie decided to turn my wonderful fruit basket into a shreddable toy. I was going to stop her but I figured it was already messed up. So I guess it now belongs to her. What a little stinker!

Hmmm, you seem to misunderstand something there about Grey ownership and ... possessions.
All those things that you thought you "owned" are actually no longer yours, they never really have been you know, all you really ever did was take care of them and keep stuff in running order.
The Real owner is now in town and there just simply isn't a gosh darn thing you can do about it anymore.
As far as Grey's are concerned the real measure of your love towards them is how much of your house you are willing to let them destroy.
And with that little bird having such a cute little face and you giving in so quickly, I would think that you should be homeless around September or so.

haha! Oh my goodness I know that all to well. I own nothing in my home, everything is the birds. And the more I don't want them to touch something the more they are drawn to that object, lol.

I couldn't really keep any fruit in it anyway. I would keep finding these little bites in everything. I have NO idea how they got there. . . . . lol

Fruit should always be sampled, one beak shape out of each in order to test for the one with the best taste.
