Leigh's post and pics about her amazing experience with that darling, gorgeous Palm 'Too reminded me of my experience of a beautiful baby Hyacinth I held about a year ago.

My most amazing experience with a parrot was, I think, in the same store (Birds Exotic?). I held this baby Hyacinth (for about an hour! I didn't want to let him go) He was gentle, sweet, warm and snuggly. His gigantic beak was pushed up against my cheek. I know how you feel, meeting and snuggling a special parrot like that. Rare and beautiful, but when they have a gorgeous personality too...oh my! Makes your heart skip a beat, doesn't it!

I love that baby Hy photo. They steal your heart, that's for sure. And pretty soon, if you let them, they'll steal every cent you have in the bank, just so you can bring one home to stay :-).
