Pita dictated this to me, he wants answers, so here goes:

Hello from Pita,
What is slumber? Is it something nasty? Do I get to eat it? Is it mine?

My human, has informed me that my Godmommie I stayed with when mommy was sick, and that little green fid are coming over tonight for a "slumber party".....I don't know what that means. Do we have to dance or something? She told me they were coming over and not leaving until tomorrow, and I overheard them talking that they were going to watch some Harry Pot thing.....should I be nervous? Is this a good thing?

We even went shopping yesterday and bought new toys & snacks......I'm so confused....please help me understand. Am I going to like this? What is a Harry Pot? Thats sounds scary. They also talked about eating stuff, and talking about boys?

I'm going to stay in my cage all night and hide, and if my green friend wants to join me, I won't even bite him....

"birds of a feather stick together.......AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!? Are they going to use glue on us??

Aww Gayla... Pita is just full of questions & worry this morning....
Give him a hug from me.... And tell him it is going to be fun... and I wish I could be there too! Lucky birds....

Pita, be careful about these slumber parties as our humans like to call them. I was subjected to one of those once. My humans brought this new bird home and mentioned she's going to be sleeping over. Well apparently she noticed how nice it is here and now the 'new guest' named Kita has been sleeping over EVERY night.

I don't know how it works in your house, but every time I hear anything about something being on my feathers I get a shower! I don't like them, like you do, so I would still be cautious about that comment.

OK, this is a good thing! Anytime food and new toys are involved everyone's happy and smiling, so don't let this worry you. As far as this Harry Pot thing, these humans do strange things. There's perfectly good things to play with and chew up all over the place and what do they do? They just sit there and look at them! Just between you and me Pita, I don't think they're as smart as us when it comes to what's fun to do.

Being very young and maybe not all that educated about life yet... I can tell you this...

Sleeping over can be fun... my mommy's daughter came to sleep over when she and her boyfriend had a fight and is still here! She brought a pretty sun conure almost the same age as me and they moved her into the same room as me. Now I have company when my mom isn't able to be with me and it's fun. We can make A LOT more noise together than I could by myself!

Harry Pot.... well.... It has to be good cuase I only saw some when my mom watched it on my tv/dvd thing and we played and snuggled during the whole thing. So far I like this Harry Pot thing!

Toys?... NEW toys are always good.. and anything that has to do with food is GREAT! So far this all sounds positive.
