(RJ eats the parakeet size in both fruit and natural.) | Hmm...I'm not sure which size for sure I've tried with Ollie. I would know it if I saw it. I think the large has a macaw on the bag, and I know it wasn't that one. Do yours have any preference between the fruit and the natural? I've tried offering natural to Ollie, but to no avail. She makes a game of eating one color at a time (red's first!) *like I do with M&M's* , and I don't want to take the fun out of it for her!
Dakota also gets the parakeet size mixed in with his seeds, although its a huge waste of money because he hasn't eaten a pellet in his 9 years of life. |

But We could make a pellet free version if you wanted. What pellets do you feed your fids ? ( And the ultimate blend comes in 2 sizes, a big bird & a small bird blend ) | You can customize it? I'm getting excited now, lol! Ollie (CAG) eats Zupreem Fruit Blend, cockatiel size. This would more than likely just be for her. My tiel is a seed junky, and he lives with my parents anyways so I can't really work with him on it very well.
I think I would like it pellet free, and then I could either mix it in with her pellets, or put it in the other food dish where I put her nutriberries and avicake. Maybe I will just order a small bag as is, pellets and all just to see what she does. If she picks around the pellets but actually eats other things (she's very picky) then maybe I could order more without the pellets?
I'm assuming CAGs are big birds? What are the differences in the blend sizes? She does prefer the cockatiel sized pellets...
Thanks for your response! |

RJ definitely prefers the natural pellets to the fruit pellets.
I really like the sound of the Ultimate Blend. |

#16 | | | Kathie - I'm getting ready to place another order - but do you think I should try the smaller version for Cosmo and Zoey? They do okay with the Ultimate blend - but not sure if they'd be more inclined to try the pellets if they were smaller or not. How much smaller are the fruit, etc. pieces in the small bird blend?

The smaller one is more for parrotlets and lovebirds. If you want, put a comment on their to speak to me and I will send you a sample of the small bird blend, okay? |

What is going on with Kady? Did I miss something? Last I knew you were concerned about dehydration. Sorry - been working on a bunch of things and checking in here periodically. Can you update me? |
