Josh, glad you guys got home safely. Stizby had a good suggestion on your other thread of putting boxes in the bottom of her cage covered in towels then paper to break a fall. Until she is better and more experienced at perching. Like cereal boxes or something.

It is amazing. Very nice people, too, Lisa the Manager that Josh mentioned has been doing this for 17 years. She's a good friend of my vet as a matter of fact and I've been friends with him since about 1991. He has the first Hy I ever saw and you'll get a kick out of this, back in the early 90's there werent any toys for birds that big and he used to make them out of window shades and blinds.

They have everything I could need there even cages. Or they'll order anything too. I'm thinking of getting a cage there shortly there's a Kings that would work for me. I have an A&E a year old and it came with a broken bar and is falling apart already. Plus I have to cable tie the cage to the stand cuz when I wheel it to the bedroom the cage falls right through the stand and almost killed the birds a few times. You get what you pay for that's for sure.

geez, that must be so handy to have around the corner whenever you need something! i am getting a freedom cage for ivy but i was going to go with A&E originally. glad i didn't, goodness! how scary i am glad everyone is ok. it really makes me mad that manufacturers aren't more careful when there are lives at steak.

I just upgraded my A&E's to Kings. Big difference. My Avian Adventure is a great cage but I just wanted a bigger one for Afa, so she got the Kings 137 as well. All of my old cages are for sale, very clean!
