Looks kinda like flying saucers to me.
Would that be from your CIA friends or one of the news stations looking for something newsworthy at the compound?

This photo is one of a window flight ("Window - Thingy")

On the backside is a door with latch that can be opened, after raising the window of course. The bird(s) come right in, step-up and are then interacted with - throughout certain days. I also use interior holding cages (Corner cages and Double Macaw cages, etc. - if/when needed).

Most birds at the Compound are rotated to different flights with different toys - throughout the yr., so they don't become bored. Breeding pairs (only have a few) are not rotated during breeding season.

Wish I could have done that. I supose you could adapt the aviary for people who don't have that much room. Mine was going to be off of a smaller window. Do you have a clearer picture of the arial view Joel? Looks like quite the set up.

I spy an orbit! That's really cool Joel! If you weren't so secretive and all, I'd express my desire to see more of what looks like a really neat "compound," but since you are- I won't!

Here is another roomy flight attached to a Compound wall. These two Greys (born to me) are siblings less than 2 yrs. old, who have never been clipped. They are excellent flyers, getting lots of exercise and exposure to daily morning sun.

Thanks to Stizby's remarks about how much her Greys love their Orbit Toy, I purchased 25 of my own (from a local source at a great price) for the flights holding my larger parrots. The birds have swings and other toys in addition to natural wood branches to chew on - like in the wild. I have found that some reject the toys in favor of chewing up and destroying the branches - lol.

I have one guy who loves to destroy cardboard boxes more than anything else. Cute, how they each have particular likes & dislikes.

This photo is of two of the 7 Caiques in this particular outdoor flight (all just recently weaned - 4 WBCs & 3 BHCs). The part of the Compound that this flight is attached to does not have a window that raises up and down but there is a picture type window I installed (made of polycarbonate) that I cut an entry-exit hole into. Cover is removed in this pic to show these two lil tykes wanting to come in for the night (as usual) for their evening treats and human interaction time. They all (all 7 of them) file thru, one after another - lol. (safely with no chance of escape).

Btw, did I ever mention Caiques are prolly my most favorite bird these days and I have kept almost all the different species of parrots.

THANK YOU for posting all these pictures! Fabulous.... Dh and I have been
talking (okay, I've been talking) about enclosing the deck somehow for the birds....these pics give me more ideas on what could be done w/o losing the deck!
