Jean's birthday and Data's owwie

Today's Jean's birthday, yay, I'm a lil sad though I wasn't able to get the Chewballee toy for him I know he would've wanted. And on Tuesday of this week the young man living here with my room mate (his kid) accidently snapped a new blood feather set on Data's right wing, and then left the bird in the basement....I was 20 minutes from behing home anyway but still! My inquiry is this, it's been 4 days since t he owwie, she seems to be surviving just fine, I've been washing it with just water every day, gently, no rubbing, but inside the shaft it's dark red blood, I don't know what it is, but it's not bleeding. She's singing like normal, no abnormal poopies, so is she fine¿

BTW Jean turned 5 today.
