You have been given a lot of excellent advice. Unfortunatly, I don't really have much to offer you. I do want to share an experience I had over vacation. We visited a caique breeder and boy, who would have thought the work she puts into them! I mean, these aren't your scrawney, immature babies. They are all very healthy and well cared for. Even if it was on a hobby basis, are you prepared to wake up every few hours to handfeed? Are you prepared to spend the money on everything those babies need? Are you prepared to wait for months for the right home for each of them- purchase cage(s), food, toys, etc? Do you really want to give up Jean's pet quality? Why would you want to breed? |
