One of our hosts, J.R. (Big Blues) visited with us at Bird Paradise this afternoon after her adventure to see Shadow. She's a very lovely lady!! She had a nice welcoming committee from several of our members including Mommysangel, Bellasmom, Cindy215, and Don from a former forum, as well as the Bird Paradise staff. We went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants after the store closed and had a great time getting to know each other in person. A lot of laughs, great discussion, a few fancy cocktails and more food than we really needed to eat!

It's so wonderful to meet people in person! I think a fabulous time was had by all. JR - we'll have to make this an annual event!

Oh, and Joel - SHE HAS AN ORBIT NOW!!!

Alot of us now have orbits! I still can't believe I walked past them when I first came in. It was a really nice night to be up at the store too. I hope there will be more PC get togethers like that again. Those pumpkin TAGS were adorable too! And the one CAG who hangs around them is a sweety with how he feeds them.

Bella was excited too when we started to get close to the bridge. It was if she knew the landmarks from her ride up and she was very vocal. She went to sleep on the way home in her carrier and I waited outside in the car for a bit with her to see everyone out. But I needed gas badly.

$2.77 for gas at that Sunco was grey't!

Nope it's not a fantasy. BP not only is great to visit but the gas is cheap in that part of town too.

Of course not Stiz , I'll usually say/do anything to make a lil joke and try and get a giggle out of some.
