Default Introductions?

Over the past two weeks (almost) Echo and Lucy have 'bonded'. They talk to eachother constatly and Lucy can't stand not being in the same room as Echo.

I would love to one day see them as 'friends'; preening each other and hanging out together. I was wondering, how would you go about that? How can I introduce them in a way that won't be threatening or scary? Will they try to fight? Is there anything I should expect if/when I do try this? Is there any 'games' I can play with themon the floor together? I don't want to rush anything, so I won't be trying it unless I have full confedence they are used to each other.

I don't have any experience with this. However, I do know that you would want to introduce them in neutral territory. You don't want either of them feeling any more defensive than necessary. That's the extent of my knowledge on it!

I have experience with this! Mr Buddy (CAG) cant really be left on the same perch for too long with any of them cause he's a bully. He has become tolerant though. The others all get along, sit on the same perch, and can be trusted. I started by having one on each forearm. Slowly bring them closer and closer each time. The first few times there was some beaking. And you can see it in their eyes if they are spooked. Then I put them on the big perch together. For me it was all good. If you try this, just make sure they are at the same level. Putting one higher than the other will cause immediate hierarchy issues. Just go slow, and you will be able to tell if they are interested. Hope that helped!

Please take you time and allow your birds to see each other in cages for several weeks before you try and put them out together on stands. You be very patient with allowing 2 birds of different species to play together. We have had great success with allowing birds to be together but is does not happen overnight. Are your birds flighted so they can get away from each other should there be a problem?

Libby and Boca play only on the floor together. They will sit on eachothers cage but I don't think they would do well in the same cage.
Try putting them on the floor with some toys.
