Default introductions.........

wow. Sophie is going nuts. SQUACK SQUACK every time she hears Cricket, the new kid in town. Kelly had him out in the living room yesterday in an attempt to just let everyone see him. Sophie gets way excited about it. Benji dances all over the bottom of his cage, Zoey just watches and waits for her chance.........

They don't get close, even a little yet. I'm guessing this is something that will wear down with time. I hope. Kelly doesn't plan on keeping Cricket in the same room as the others, as far as his cage goes. That will be kept in our bedroom, between us on the bed.............. just kidding!!! Would it help for now, until I get Cricket his permanent cage, if maybe he was in eye shot of Sophie?

What a fine family you have there Mr. Jim.
Sorry - i don't have enough experience to add anything here, but I'd remove him is she gets too excited - just wanted to say Good Luck with the Little one.
I think you know your birds best .

I don't have any p'let experience either, but everything I've read about them is exactly how Jerry acts - meaning that he's NOSEY when it comes to us or Lulu doing anything and he needs to check everything out. He's a hyper little busy-body as well, so he doesn't stay put in one place for very long. So as Cricket settles in more and gets bolder, I would closely watch how he interacts with the rest of your flock. Because Jerry pesters Lulu and I don't think he would be any better to another bird no matter what other size or kind of bird were in my house

But I'm sure you know what I mean from your experiences with Benji and Sophie
