And yes, FYI, that is a photo of a wild Ekkie and a wild Leadbeater's. My good friend in North Oz is a wildlife photographer. They often see Ekkies and 'Toos interacting while feeding in the same trees.

No tapping or snapping Missi. Thats something I watch for. He's an active bird. Even in his cage he runs on the bottom screaming at toys, sings songs, uses every inch of that cage. Then when he's out he plays all over that gym system I have. Im planning to tweak his diet a bit and see what happens.

when you feel comfortable I would still get his beak trimmed down a bit. It will be better for him, and you will better be able to see if the diet change has slowed the beak growth.

Oh, definitley! That will be happening sooner than later!
