i got bobby the day after poitin died...well he kinda landed in my lap and altho i love him more than anything else... hes just not a caique really is he?? god aren't those caiques just one in a million bird wise??

never thought id say this but im thinking of getting another caique... i need that class clown attitude round the place again... i know it wont replace poitin and i always said i could never have another one after him and i know im being crazy for even thinking about it but i dont know...

guess im kinda looking for peoples opinions

unfortunately i cant go into detail here (but if anyone has any worries about what im going to say next PM me and ill have no problems telling you the exact story... a few people already know it)

bobbys going on a long term holiday to hes old owners next week (not because i cant handle him or want to get rid of him...altho i wont miss the screaming much lol)

and theres always poitins old cage there that was left lying in the shed after i disinfected and cleaned it... so ya know its kinda lonely out there without a bird..

im startin to ramble and sound a little insane now so i better put a sock in it lol

tell me what you guys think anyhow?

I know Bobby's story and I think it is the most compassionate great choice you could make at this time. His homecoming after his holiday may be a little bittersweet. I understand why you need a caique in your life maybe a female will seem a better choice. No male will ever be Poitin.

Not dangerous at all! I think it is a grand idea & when Bobby comes to visit, he will have a wonderful new chum. You keep thinking

There's nothing like a caique. Once you've experience one, it's like nothing else. And, yes, that is such a wonderful thing you are doing with Bobby.
