I would definitely do it again. I wish I had waited on Dakota until I was a little older and knew more about bird care. Because I'm only 20 and in college and I treat Ollie like my human child, people are constantly asking me if I wish I had waited a few years so that I could really "enjoy the college experience." I have no regrets whatsoever- Ollie is the love of my life!

Yeah I get that too...constantly asking, because of my age, if I have ever regretted them. You know how so many of us 'younger folk' are wanting children? Well I don't have that...I already got two noisey messy creaturesin my home

I would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat! The only thing I would do differently would be to learn more about them before I got into them but I would still get them. They cheer me up when I am down. I need that.

How do you stop the so many? I started with 1 budgie. How did it happen? I think it is a fever that just bites and then you plan more aviaries and cages and how you plan to pay for them.

I would do it all over again, and there is not much at all that I would do differently.

I've had birds since the age of 8. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
There are some lessons I wished I did not learn, but thats life I guess.
Having birds, and growing up with them, made me who I am today.

I would definitely do it over again. I would do a few things differently, but wouldn't change bringing in any of the birds that have come through our home.

No doubt about it! I wouldn't change a thing. My birds are like children to me, they give me a reason to get up in the morning and make me smile when I'm down. It's next to impossible to be around these clowns and not laugh and smile.

I share your sentiments because of Ro I have had an opportunity to meet a special group of people...those who let birds touch their hearts seem to have a heavenly magic about them.

I would do it over the same way....Ro needed a home and she has brought me continuous blessings.

I totally agree. I would definitely do it over again. Like Joel I wish I had stopped with fewer than I have. The problem is the ones that we added needed a good home and we have soft spots in our hearts for the older (not babies any more) birdies.

I wish I had known a little more before I started but I have learned so much from them.....

They are like my children to me. They know when I am down, and cheer me up. They share my excitement, sometimes just a little louder than I want but what the hey

All in all we have a good life together.
