Default If I build it, he will come

I got the new cage. Thanx again Kathie. (Got the 2nd box yesterday!) I have managed to drag it upstairs, and I've emptied both boxes. Love the Sandstone, it goes so nice with my house decor.

Now I am going to wash it all down, and begin the assembly....check back with me in about a month....lol Naw, I'm sure I can do it.

Yesterday Bee & I went to yet another Meet The Birds (no Casper, but Emily, a adorable Amazon, was there) Then we went to a Bird Expo....OH MY GOD! So many birds & toys & perches & swings, and did I say birds? We were lucky to get out with only some toys & perches & boings....no birds, but it was touch & go when I met Mo...a baby Sunny, that gave kisses just like Pita......and then there was a cockatoo, she was just the most loveable little thing....$800.00. Bee, fell for a Pionus (sp?)......and that was closest we came to bringing home a bird.

So now I am off back downstairs to begin the putting together of the Pita Mansion........I got him so many cool new things to put in it.....he's gonna love it.

Pictures to come.....eventually...lol

It should go together pretty good, Gayla. Quito, Tausi and Chico all reside in different sized A&E cages (all sandstone color) from BP. Just got Quito's new Qage about a week ago.

I have never been to an expo, but there's one here every year. Did they have good prices? Good luck with the cage, knowhow you feel though! We had to put together te corner cage with no directions. Oh my gosh. I seriously thought it may not come together till next century!

Nate.....whats your phone #, so tonight at around 3 am when I'm cussing, and Pitas screaming because he's still up, I can call you....

Some prices were really good, some normal, some high. We did get a large Boing for only $8.00, that was a really good price, but then at the same stand I got one those Manzanita {sp?} perches, really cool one for inside the cage, splits off about 5 times. It was $24.00. Got a cool bungie braided kind of rope perch, and an Orbit thingy. Bird prices were all over the place. They had a pair of Female Sunny's that were about 3 years old, and they were selling them both with the cage for $800.00. Lots of baby's.....tons of birds, I just hope they're all happy & find good homes.
