Default I've thought of you guys many times recently!

I keep meaning to post about all the different birds I've seen and held recently so I'll just do it all in one big post

A few weeks ago I held a little baby Greencheek conure and thought of Bee and Valo the whole time. She (I think she was a DNA'd female) was about 4-5 months and so sweet - she didn't want to get off me. Slightly nippy, but nothing too bad.

That same day I also saw 3 fuzzy baby macaws - I had never seen macaws so young before in person - they were just fuzz and pin feathers and climbing all over each other like a bunch of uncoordinated dinosaurs......and I thought of Irish of course

Yesterday I saw my first Rose Breasted Cockatoo and thought of Leigh and Alex the pink chicken The RB2 was much smaller than I had imagined! I would have asked to hold him/her but he was napping the whole time I was there.

Last week I thought of my own Jerry - multiple times! I was at a petstore and I walked over to the big tank of budgies and I swear there were 4 or 5 exact replicas of Jerry!! It was the same chain but a different store from where I got Jerry, so they were probably from the same breeder. It was just soooo strange walking up to the glass to get a closer look and having them shy away. There are so many budgie mutation colors that I see a lot of similar features but these guys were carbon copies of my dude! Freaky! I called hubby right away to tell him - he said "Oh goodness, 5 times the trouble!!"

And yesterday I saw a Green English Budgie (with a HORRIBLE wing clip). He was a cutie (no, we're not getting him!!).

Well the RB2 had a pricetag of $2500 so it was pretty easy to restrain myself there

I handled an RB2 yesterday that was much smaller than my shark. My Alex is big, and in beautiful feather I must say. But yeah, back on track, I think of everyone also, just about everyday. I truly believe that we are all now linked because of PC. Its nice!

I agree! Although I've seen lots of gorgeous birds in pet stores that I'd just love to bring home....but all it takes is thinking of Ollie and how I'd have less time for her. I'm content to just see them in stores!
