Thank you all for your concerns. He is doing fine and has been rehomed with people who can afford the surgery.

I am working a 70 to 80 hour work week right now, so terribly sorry that I don't have all day to update every concerned person. Many of you contacted me via email and I did get back to you.

In situations like this, while an update from anyone is appreciated (thanks again, Kathie), I think most like to hear from the original poster. I know I do. Thanks for letting us know and I hope your schedule lightens up soon so that you can have a little more time for yourself. Life is too short to spend it working all the time!

Dayna.....If you really mean that however () maybe by possibly basing your belief on my not having posted in the thread, I would like you to know that there was nothing else helpful to say (that wasn't already said in the other posts) to an experienced keeper like yourself to help a bird in that state/condition. The only obvious course of action to take was an operation (if that would help to get the lil one back on his feet - as properly as possible) by a well experienced Avian Vet/Surgeon etc......

I hope everything works out for the lil one. You take care now.
