Default I have pictures of the rescues!

Yep...I actually got pics of them now! Here you go:

I know I sound 100% sure that they are mine...because that's the attitude I want to have so they DO become mine LOL

NAMES...help me play the name game here guys! They don''t have names so if you think of something post it for me!

Sorry...musta missed the story.

They were at the same house for 8 years...or all their lives. Their owners gave them up...and here we are

The green one is an Alexandrine. He's in perfect feather...nothing wrong with him.

The blue one is an IRN (indian ringneck like Prinny) When he was younger he was exposed to a virus that caused him to pluck his feathers. I can't remember the name now but the vet cured him of it but he had destroyed the feather shafts too far for new ones to grow in. He does not have it anymore...had been around other birds for years now and nothing...

I am not sure about the IRN yet...he WILL be coming home...but I don't know if he will stay. I have a friend who is interested in adopting him (she might drive down with me( or Catschair has offered. Prinny has not gotten along well with other IRNs...so it poses a problem

I like Bandit for the Alexandrine. I had an Alexandrine named Bandit but had to rehome him with someone in Pennsylvania... Not because of me, but it kinda relates to another thread here that I recently posted. I was afraid he would be confiscated. I really miss him. So, Bandit is my vote for the Alexandrine!

When i see the IRN I think of my is my little Gidget, of course she is way bigger and her coloring is just fab,,,maybe something like Turquoise. As for the Alexandrine for some reason rainbow comes to mind, I must be stuck on colors

Psittaculas are so pretty, I am constantly amazed by the variety I see here in Brisbane.

OK, since everyone knows I like ethnic names for birds lets go Indian. What about naming them after Bollywood stars? Are they boys or girls?

They look so cute Dani, the Alex has alot of stress bars though, or am I imagining it? I can't wait to see him after a molt or two after living with you for awhile. That blue IRN is so sweet looking. Will his feathers ever grow back in or are they destroyed for good? Congrats on the two new additions. They have got a great forever home. Names!! We need to give those to cuties some names. I vote Riple or Riley for the Alex (first name that popped into my head when I saw him), I am still thinking about the IRN though. Once again congratulations.

Yeah the alex does have quite a few stress bars but it comes with the terriatory of taking on a rescue. He is still the most handsome alex I have ever seen...and will get better once he is in my home!

THe blue IRN probably won't get his feathers back...but to me he is still adorable no matter what

Tiki...you must not be around IRNs huh? Both have rings...so both are boys. They are sexually dimorphic once they are past 2 years...boys ring out females don't.
