Pebbles, our Hy actually asked for water! Every time I give her water when she is out on her ring I simply say "Water?" So today, I offered her her usual mac nut and she didn't take it, instead she blurted out, "W a t e r?!" She drank it quickly as it was hot and humid today.

awww that kinda reminds of Mr Buddy and the first time he asked for water, the first few weeks he was here. I was sitting on the sofa and he said "STUPID BAS***D,! Be needin a sssssip a water now!" So I jumped right up and offered him water from my own glass. He slurped, belched, and laughed!

Arent they precious children!

Whoever had him before he came to me! He was 5 when I took him in. Sounds like Pebbles has better manners. He stopped using naughty words but he does still belch on occasion.

That's pretty neat that she put that together to ask for what she wanted. I think I need to talk to the birds with fewer words to get them to associate.
