Default Hy for adoption

Does anyone actually beleive that this rescue has a 4 month old HY and thats its for adoption ? I havent called the rescue but it just sounds fishy to me or at least too good to be true...Like who would donate a baby hy to a rescue...no one I know LOL !!

Says they aren't taking any more applications.
Could be anything. Maybe owner passed away and family didn't want him. Owner couldn't handle him...looks like he might be a plucker.

Interesting that they say she was "donated" to the sanctuary by good friends, almost like she is there as a fund-raiser or something? Makes you wonder.

I think she was just fledging in that photo. She looks in good feather in the latest pic. They also say:

Our fees are set by breed of bird, age, temperament, condition.
I would expect her "adoption fee" to be pretty hefty.

i saw that a few weeks ago. i can't imagine someone donating a hy, but who knows the circumstances. as nate said, i am sure the "adoption fee" is very steep

Must be a very steep fee, also a Hy of 4 months will be no where near even weaned.
