Default How to wash a boing?

Schroeder and I have a disgusting looking boing here, long overdue for a wash!

Is it safe to machine wash them or should I buy a scrubber and do my best by hand?

I bought it from Grey Feather toys (http://www.greyfeathertoys.com/cgi-b...&affiliate_id=)
if that helps.

Its got some poop but mostly crusty sweet potatoe, and baby food and really needs to be cleaned.

I never thought about machine washing them...I put mine in the bathtub with dishsoap, let it soak for awhile, swish it all around, scrub what needs scrubbed, then rinse it off. Maybe somebody has a better way...

I always wash them by hand. I thought someone said you could put them in the dishwasher, but I am not sure, it seems kinda gross since that is where dishes go...

i tried that once with a comfy/rope perch and it started to smell - had to toss the thing.... but if you say it works for you, i might give it another try (the rope perch is due again )

We soak our boings in hot water and vinegar, then scrub if needed. They may be stained from the potato but they will be clean

She's doing pretty good Has another vet apointment tomarrow and is going to get her second set of shots on top of it, poor baby!

Shes been pretty lethargic but I don't know if I can really blame her and its better that way, since I'm supposed to restrict her activity.

you can scrape as much off as you can, and then put it in the dishwasher.
It will take a while to dry tho.
Its almost time for a new one here as well. Stirling goes through them like mad! I have a good site for them if you need one. They custom make them as well.

also, since you got it from Greyfeather
call or write Carlos and Monica to see how the suggest to clean their items.
