Default Hoop "EGG"!

Hi all, As I await the big arrival tomorrow at 10am, I am done with my hoopegg, got the playstand set up, and am waiting for the CAGE! Argh, always something. I did go get a small one for now that will later serve as a travel cage for Z, but for now, it's home. Hopefully her big girl cage will be in tomorrow afternoon! What do you think of my egg? Everyone elses looks so nice and round! LOL Bye for now!

Run some SS chain from the top cross to the bottom cross (screw 2 eyelets into each connector and attach to those) to hold it taut. That's what I did, or I'd have an egg too. Doesn't matter the shape though...it'll still definitely be used and loved!

Looks good, shape doesn't matter. Is the strings hanging down ok? Is it possible to get a leg or neck tangled?

I'm so jealous of all you hoop makers. I keep going back to the directions, and asking myself where in the world would I put it to start with, and am I adept enough to follow the directions.

Your egg looks great! We still haven't finished ours, lol. And that playstand looks great, I am sure Zakiya will love looking out the window. She is going to be one spoiled little grey!

Just wanted to say good luck tomorrow and enjoy every exciting moment with your new baby Z!

Oh, and don't feel bad about the cage. I once finished putting a cage together 1 hour before the bird arrived. Um, and I put the bottom on backwards so you have to roll the cage away from the wall to pull out the pan...but at least the dog can't get to it, lol.

I think it looks great! Mine doesn't look like an egg and it isn't round either. Actually, I need someone to make one for me!

Bet you're getting excited!!!
