Unhappy Grumpy Birdie

OH MY! I got this new online computer game, and so did my roommate, well to explains the set up a bit....the main computer is in the office which is where Eve's cage is. Mine laptop is in the living room. Now typicaly Eve is covered at night and the light stays off. So my roommate will use the computer without disturbing Eve's sleep. Well....we were both playing this game last night until 1am. Talking back and forth to each other. So poor Eve got no sleep! So he has decided to show his displeasure this morning by hunting our heads! He has spent the better part of this morning flying around and using his feet and beak to grab the top of our heads as he flies by! Ouch! I gave him breakfast, peaches, cereal, pine nuts and pasta...all of which he threw on the floor, with a sense of anger. He pooed on my roommates head and has been screaming all morning and refuses to step up, (he thinks I'll put him in time out for his behavior) Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the perch! Poor little tried vasa...

Youuuuu made your bed now you have to sleep in it so to speak. I'm blessed with Jean, I can stay up all day until 4AM if I wanted, sleep until 12, and Jean won't fuss in the least. *cuddles her birdy* personally though I find it funny he's doing this to you, most birds would just growl and ignore you all day and dump the food, he took it to another level by dive bombing your oh so deserving heads XD

lol - i hear ya.... isn't it kind of funny who they make sure to let you know then they're upset and not happy with you
if i go fencing after work, and don't stop at home to give valo his attention, he'll refuse to come out of the cage, bite me when i offer my finger, turn around on his perch when i prepare his food, disappear on the kitchen cabinet tops... and after about an hour of talking nicely to him, he finally comes around again.... they sure don't make it easy to make up

Poor Eve, at least you understand the birdie is upset. Get headphones for next time then you don't have to shout.

Yah - I know what you mean.
We got talking the other night & forgot to put the Budgies to bed. Then later i saw we forgot to turn off the light so Laker in particular was still singing away past 10pm. So we've agreed to be more aware - again. They get up around 7am. Normally they're in bed by 8:30pm

Laker is pretending to be feral - or is it just crabby? Hope with some love & more sleep that evens out.

LOL, Paybacks, eh!

We just started an earler bedtime last night. My two have been getting cranky on their summer hours.

I know! Eve has summer hour bed time and winter hour bed time. I'm lucky in that Eve is ok (meaning I don't get beat up by him) if I have to go out for the day, or away for the weekend. But god forbid we stay up past our bed time! If Eve is up 10 minutes past his bedtime......the screaming starts and he will start flying toward his cage. He used to put him self to bed, and I just had to turn off the light. But I had to stop that when he would decide to PRETEND to go to bed in the office only to eat the keyboard.
