Default Greys in the wild

ok grey people, check this out! General Information about African Grey Parrots

towards the bottom of the page is video and sound of wild greys. I showed Mr Buddy and he let out a whistle Ive never heard. He knew it was a flock of his own kind. Show your greys and tell me what happens!

Ollie couldn't care less. She's eating a nut right now! I thought it was cool though!

In my opinion, it's very hard to get people-imprinted grays to flock. I don't know about anybody else but it has taken me two to three years just to get mine to start having a few social behaviors among themselves... although I have to say that the newest one seems to be catching on quite fast and that is most likely because she is older and the others are used to each other and accepted her from the very first day. And now that she is DNA'd we need to find her a femenine name that sounds like 'Elliot' - LOL

Elle? Bella?

As for those wild Greys--they're noisy little guys, aren't they? :-).

Echo-Bella was quite interested by this! However, I think she likes anything sound wise that comes from 'the colored thing'. It was amazing though!

Elliot is still cute for a girl. Even if it isn't girly. Bella made really long whistle calls in response to the wild greys.
