And something else Im thinking is, you cant just fly coach with birds in tow. You have to ship them to quarantine. It could be 6 months in Japan. Then coming back into the us is an entirely different story. In countreis where bird flu breaks out, they dont just kill chickens! WHen it was a discussion what would happen here, they said bird owners would be forced to hand over and surrender their pet birds! You should reach out to Shanlung..he might me able to make it all clear for you. The birds have no voice in this and you could lose them forever. Its a long trip for a human. Imagine a bird in a carrier all that time.

He's not a pilot but it's a military plane he made it clear when we moved there I am not flying commercial I'm not risking them he's cleared it with his commanding officer about my position ON the birds and other people on base have them, I'm not budging on the topic of them going or not going and as for my meds, I do respect you a lot, but, I want to point out the past year or more I have weaned myself off them and can function just fine without them now.

You cant fly on a military plane! It doesnt work that way sweetie. You would fly commercial and you cannot take the birds in a military plane even if that was the case! They have to fly separate to a quarantine station. They might even be authorized to reenter here. Look at the link I gave you and investigate.

You are very right I am not comfortable, anymore with where this is going and it's about 8 or something hours flying from seatac he's helping me move mys tuff from PA in march back to washington and we're leavin git there temporarily, there is a quarantine station two blocks from where he lives so it's just around the corner from his house. He's not going to Iraq, I've had this discussion with him, there's a lot of private things I haven't mentioned here I Just wanted to let you guys know what was going on and I was a bit curious about what to do with them. Tinna, Im gonna tell you what I would tell a friend or even my own child. Marriage is hard. Being a military wife is even harder. Be young, wait until he comes home, be engaged for a while. And then revisit this. Have you even seen this person? last thread you said he was a friend in Japan no mention of military. Im not sure where this is all coming from. But dont make any quick decisions based on emotion. Stop and think about this.
