Default first flight

How old was your parrot when they took their very first fly?

I took the new baby (still no name) out to feed this morning and totally unexpectedly, she jumped out of my hand and flew a few feet to the ground and started bobbing, aparantley very happy for herself. Shes not even 2 months old yet, so I didnt expect a bird who barley has balance standing to be able to fly so soon, but I''m very proud of her, what a cutie.

I think Ollie took her first flight (aka nose-dive) around 9-10 weeks.

If I remember correctly, Ceilidh flew at about 2 1/2 months. I can't remember when Arthur and Bob fledged, and we're still waiting for Mikey Blue to fly, as his breeder butchered his wings when she sent him to us, and he still has quite a few flight feathers to have come in before he can fly the friendly skies.
