Chico has a nicely displayed tail and maybe his eyes are a little tiny but he is still a pretty birdie.

Chico would like to grind the camera into small pieces, along with possibly the person holding it. I wanted to open the door to get a better shot.

Yeah, I get that look from him a lot. The poor boy is so cage bound and territorial. He's molting right now too, that doesn't help. He loves his scritches though, you just have to know when is the right time.

Chico has trimmed up since I got him. He was on a seed and peanut diet then.
Yeah, I think Quito's a little testier than usual because of the molt. She's never been one to care for scritches and petting, though. Just wants to be with you.
Tausi hasn't started to molt yet, I don't know what's up with that. He had one of those partial molts back in the spring, maybe that's all he's going to do this year?

they are so lovely, we definitely don't see enough of them! so is chico 100% cage bound, just never comes out? i know he is a rescue, but do you know what his previous life was like? poor little guy, you seem to be doing so well by him though. quito is adorable as always what kind of bird is tausi? he looks so spunky!
