Squash Flowers.....Mmmmmmmmm
Got them at a farmers market and thought I would try them as a special treat, since they are pricey. Well Eve loves them, particularly goes after the center of the flower. And they are a good source of nutrition. But 2 bucks for 3 flowers........he will not be getting them often.

And another thing that I've never heard of. What is a squash flower??? I should start reading up on my squashes. I'm only familiar with 2 that I think of right now.

they are used in cooking, never had them myself. But you can stuff them, make a soup with them.....all sorts of things. I just washed them and gave them cut up for Eve. He likes edible flowers on occasion and they are very healthy. Suppose I could stuff them as well with a mash. Hmmmm I have one flower left, just might have to try it.

I know! Poor Eve, at least as far as my wallet is concerned they are only seasonal.
