I was in the kitchen, cleaning up the birds 'buffet' meal I made them. That's when I hear this sound, a scratching sound. I thought it was a cat who was stuck in the sun room (we have some cabinets we are going to install in there at the moment) and that it had climbed into one of those and gotten stuck. I had no idea how a cat would get in, with all the dogs and doors closed, but I walked in and began my search anyway. Well, as I am nearing Echo's cage, I see him hanging onto one of the bars with his beak and one of his feet. Meanwhile, he is using his other foot to srcatch the pannel of his cage (there are 2 pannels on either side of the door that don't have bars. Well, I ask him "Echo, what are you doing?" and he replys (no joke) "What?". I could have fallen over! He keeps in doing it, hav'n a ball.

I just sit back and shake my head- a bird that thinks she's a dog and a bird who plays in the goofiest ways! What am I going to do?

What a cute story! It's hard to believe how smart they are!
