was at it again!!! Cricket amazes me. I was at the grocery store tonight and picked up a mango and a papaya to make a fruit mix treat for the fids. As usual Benji nipped up a piece and that was it for him. Zoey ate a couple pieces and left it alone. Sophie went at it with gusto, as expected, only she wasn't actually eating the fruit, she ate all the pellets the fruit touched!!!

Then there is Cricket, out eatin' machine!! He dove into that fruit for all it was worth!! Looked like he had never been fed!! I mean he stayed at that fruit for almost an hour!!! Oh what a mess he was!!! Where was this picture last month!!??

Jim, that is such a darling picture of Cricket eating his fruit. It's amazing how cute birds look even with food all over their beak. How does Cricket wipe the food off his beak? Tommaso likes to wipe his food off on my sleeve.

to clean his beak during his feeding frenzy he shakes his head, sometimes he doesn't pull his head out of the food first and food flies everywhere!!! When he is done eating he wipes it off on the rope perch.
