Default does this look worth it to you?

I've been meaning to make one out of PVC pipe, but does this look nice/worth the money to you?

HUGE PLAY GYM FOR THE BIRDS

Josh, my husband and I make stuff all the time. If you dont have tools you buy a few basics and all the parts to make a similar stand for $450 and still have the tools after. Once you make the first one its really simple.

If I were in your shoes, I'd buy it. However, I have three large birds, so the footing would be good. However, it will probably be difficult for your quaker, teil and lory to grip as it appears to be manzita. Manzita is already a slippery wood, and if the birds can't get a grip arout it, they may slip.

EDIT: I don't think it's worth $450 though. You can buy manzita and lots of other, better woods (like cholla for instance) for much cheaper and make it however you want.

Knowing my birds, they would all end up on the highest perch and ignore all the others!!

Exactly, that would be my concern as well. Other than hanging type gyms, my birds always seem to go for the top, and any lower branches become poop catchers. For some reason, it's different with hanging gyms. They tend to use all the branches on those.
