Tiki- you need to add a category of "I know some but not others". That would be my response. You have to remember that several of us suffer from MBS! LOL.

Billy, Ducky, and Zippy, yes, because of clearly visible male physical charactaristics.

Fred is assumed male, I guess his little hormonal dance he does is considered male behavior. I have no idea, no one has ever confirmed that with me. Maybe someone here can? I call it his chicken dance, he goes back and forth from one foot to another, honking all the while. Once he grabbed Billy's head with one of his feet. Do the males grab the females by the head when they're mating?? ROFL

Skittles is assumed female, I think because she was wanted to be female, and also because she is very submissive and loving. She's never laid eggs or done anything that would point in either direction, to my knowledge anyway. I just continue to refer to her as a her.

Prinny is the only one we know for certain. Doyle we were told is most likely a boy because of his pubic bone being close together I believe. Danny we have no idea but we suspect he might actually be a she. Scarlett we have no idea either (although the breeder said that by the shape of her head she is a girl). I wanted to know, my husband didn't think it was neccessary.

Most of mine are pairs and therefore have babies sometimes. Budgies is possible to visually sex. Pet suns that I have kept have been dna, although I do play a game with myself by guessing first.

Had mine sexed, wanted to know if I had to worry about egg binding at all, and WHO I had to worry about.

Jezebel is female, we guessed, or assumed correct with her.....My daughter named Lu , who was originally Tallulah.......before we had the DNA, yep, he's a he.

What about sexually dimorphic birds like green Princesses? Does that count for number 1 or 2?

lets see...Groovy, Bonnie and Jake I have the DNA certificates for, Kyla I was told is female...and by the gap in her pelvic bones and behavior (plus bonding to a male GW) she is a she. Stevie I think was sexed at some point...but not here, but she is a she. L.B. was sexed by the breeder, he supposedly has a tattoo on his one wing. Bell is a parrotlet so visually a girl, and flash the lovebird we always thought was female and she proved it by laying 2 eggs about a month ago. LOL

Ollie is DNA'd, Mollie is visually sexed, Dakota is behaviorally/visually sexed.
