Default DNA sexing results

got Tango sexed there a few weeks ago and the results came back today...he is now offically a SHE my 1st female parrot...and i was so used to calling her a him..

hopefully he wont pick up good boy now

New parrot rule. If it is a boy to you, you must give it a girl name, it will just work out better in the end.

LOL! We got ours right by looking at features, etc... I think we get in in our heads our birds are male or female when they actually aren't. Just choose a gender neutral name

well thats why she was called Tango.. the name the shop gave her was Tinkerbell and i thought uh oh if tis a boy we are in trouble lol

The same thing happened with me and Sugar. I still find myself saying "she" and it's been months. My mind is hard to retrain.
