Default Displaced birds...Again

I just got my house back in some kind of order from our reconstruction. Furniture and cages all in place, fids happy in front of the new french doors...
Now comes this huge tree that has no place to go. Thank goodness it will only be in their room for a few weeks. (they do love looking at the lights on it though)

You just scared the heck out of me. I read that and I'm thinking OH NO!!!! another storm and a tree came through your lovely french doors!! Glad to read this is a welcome tree in their bird room and not an intruder!

Yea, I think that since they get bored easily, parrots love the disruption with all the fun stuff and bright colors. Cleo got rolled across the living room beside our entertainment center. On the entertainment center my wife placed all of these cute Christmas dooeys. Cheesy dooeys, but it's fun.
So, yesterday, Cleo scaled over to the entertainment center top and methodically was terrorizing the Christmas fru fru until I stopped her. The Polar Express bell got flung into the floor, the "MOOOEY Christmas" singing cow quickly found herself beside the Polar Express bell in the floor. Then I interceded. PUt em back, distracted Scrooge back to the cage, then she did it all over again. I put the now disabled cow and the bell on the other end of the top.
But, as I said, I feel they LOVE all the pretty stuff!

I got scared too... with all the storms and stuff you've had, I was like "oh NO!"

But lol, thats cute.... I'm sure they wont mind... When I lived with roomates and we had a tree, my fids loved to try to climb on it.

Butr now that I'm alone, I dont do the tree thing, being Jeweish and all... Mabe I should get a hanukkah bush

My first thought was a rehome too!

I have an itty bitty pink sparkly tree filled with lights and ornaments. Ollie just loves to stare at it. I also have lights around the living room. The day I put them up she was in such a hyper, excited mood!
