On Dirty Jobs tonight, a poor African Grey in one of the shows where the trailer had a major German Cockroach infestation. The poor guy was not only subjected to the roaches and poor living conditions in the home but the cage was small, no toys, and I don't even WANT to know what was in the seed mix. It was filmed two years ago or I would of brought the Grey's condition to the attention of Discovery.

I just hope someone blew a whistle who saw this poor guy living like that and made a fuss to both the authorities and if anything the Discovery networks.

That kind of stuff makes me so angry. Animal Planet has also displayed birds kept in poor conditions- you'd think they'd know better. Some viewers see that and think it's okay or normal.
