Default Destructive Birdies

This is what I get for putting her parrot tower too close to the blinds and not keeping a close enough eye on her. Ollie hasn't destroyed too many things she's not supposed to...(some curtains, a designer purse strap, the heel of a nice pair of shoes, a shirt or 2...) What about your birds? Care to share stories and/or pictures of their destruction?

Yep, and that's what she said after she did it too! "That's Naughty!" and "That's NO!" She knows when she's bad...now if only knowing that would deter her from doing those things...

haha! I won't lie and say the thought has never crossed my mind! Usually a sternly said, "wanna squirt??" will get her to shape up pretty quickly. It's when I'm not paying attention that this stuff happens. It's been that way for about 2 weeks now! I'll buy new ones eventually...

Renovations, this year only. All birds get a new slate in the beginning of the year.

Sun Conure.

Christmas tree, had to be taken down 2 Jan due to modifications.
Buttons on the couch.
Curtains.
Curtain hooks, plastic, no match for pliers attached to a birdie face.
Plaster & Paint above the curtain rail. (see a pattern concerning curtains)
Hole expanded in the wall where a picture hook previously was
Various ornaments and pot plants etc.
4 x keyboard ( i think maybe 5)
2 x mouse
1 cellphone buttons
1 cellphone cover
TV cable
books and papers, once a roll of toilet paper collected by team effort.
triangle shapes in clothes
buttons
Off hand I cant think of more but, the price I pay for allowing all day out of cage time. They now in the aviary, they have destroyed some budgie homes. Lucky no budgies home at the time.

Budgies
Some books, I had no idea budgies were such efficient shredders before. First and last time they did noticeable damage.

Where to begin! Most of the damage was actually done my Zazu before we rehomed him. Harley can get very destructive if she wants though!

Cutrains
Blinds
Brand new trim (not even painted)
Chair
Table (yikes!)
Clothes

Everything seems to happen right at the moment you looks away, if only for a second. Harley mastered the art of scaling down the playstand, up the chair and onto the table while I had my back turned. We keep a very close eye on her now, lol!

Not too bad here.

Kady has had the ocassional nibble on my Oak desk.

Kita does damage quick, one chomp and it's done. She got my cell phone cord and mouse cord. Took a chunk out of my kitchen cabinets and her latest was 2 quick bites out of a step; this isn't chewing, just a quick bite on her way through...

I'll list a few of Ruby's favorite things - My wooden blinds - Buttons off every shirt and nightgown I own - the handle to my new red coach bag - picture frame - black stuff that hold the glass in my shower door - the wallpaper - and last but not least she stole my diamond earring out of my ear and popped the diamond out. And just in case you think I don't watch her these things happened while I was watching her!!!!!! Meddlesome bird!
