Distructive???? What's that? . Let me see..... Mini blinds, buttons off of shirts, holes in shirts, holes in me, walls, wood trim, necklace chains being broken, earrings that no longer close, let's don't even get started on paper and books, thank God no checks though , sorry Josh I just had to toss that one in . buttons on the remotes, my den furniture, shall I go on, or does this paint good enough picture . Every day it's a new adventure !

Bella has claimed the on/off button of my tv remote. It's not the cable remote so that's okay! Some holes in my shirts. My cockatiel was the one who had a field day with wood work.

All psittacines are destructive, they need to chew all the time and so they chew whatever they have handy. In their natural habitat, they chew native wood, with us, they chew our homes. My birdroom walls look like a patchwork quilt because we've fixed the sheetrock but I need to move all the birds to another room in order to paint it and we are waiting until we install plexiglas on all the walls. That way, they will look nice for a long time.

We found a solution for the windows that has worked (so far), no molding, just a metal corner bead screwed to the sheetrock.

My fids aren't allowed in the LR where the "good" furniture is. In their playroom we have 2nd hand furniture because several of them love to chew the couch, climb up the blinds an chew on the molding, chew on remotes, phone cords, cordless phones, tables.

In our old house Moki (Harliquin macaw) would love to climb up the stairs pulling the buttons off the railing.

I learned not to wear jewelry around the birds. Piaui reshapped my casual wedding band, it now fits once again.
